Product Description
Small Half-Round Closed-Cell Silicone Foam Seal Strip is a flexible foam sealing profile designed for compact gap sealing, cushioning and weather protection. Its half-round cross section provides a soft, compressible sealing surface that conforms to mating surfaces and helps close gaps.
Made from durable closed-cell silicone foam, this seal strip provides good compression recovery and resistance to heat, UV exposure, ozone, weathering and aging. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications where a flexible, lightweight sealing profile is required.
The 2–10 mm height range is particularly suitable for smaller gaps and applications where a compact sealing profile is preferred.

Size Selection
Choose the appropriate profile according to the gap width, profile height, sealing surface, required compression and available installation space.
For smaller gaps, select a profile with a suitable height to provide sufficient sealing contact without excessive compression.
The selected profile should compress sufficiently against the mating surface to create reliable sealing contact while allowing adequate recovery after installation.
For applications exposed to repeated movement or vibration, consider a profile that provides sufficient compression recovery without excessive installation force.
Length Selection Guide
Silicone foam seal strips are available in different lengths depending on profile size, application requirements, shipping method and order quantity.
- Standard lengths: Common lengths such as 1 m, 3 m and 10 m may be available depending on the profile size.
- Large profiles: Some larger profiles may have limited long-length options because of transportation requirements.
- Bulk orders: Longer rolls, custom lengths and production quantities can be supplied for wholesale and engineering applications.
- Custom production: If a requested size or length is not listed, suitable existing extrusion tooling may be available. Additional tooling charges may not apply when suitable existing tooling is available.
